Who We Are
Sean and Isaiah’s working relationship began over 12 years ago when Isaiah hired Sean to work at his court reporting company, and tasked him with building a legal videography arm for the firm. They struck up a fast friendship, often talking (and debating) for hours about the movies of their youth. Spurred on by their creative conversations and looking beyond the somewhat straightforward work of recording deposition video, Sean was eager to put the skills he gained years earlier at University of Miami film school to a more creative use. He suggested to Isaiah that they start a new company — one that catered not only to lawyers but to all businesses with creative video production needs. It was then and there that Reflex was born.
Slowly but surely, Reflex has grown into a full service video production company, dedicated to creating high-quality, visually appealing videos, for a diverse range of companies and industries. Sean’s training as a director and storyteller, along with Isaiah’s client-focused business management skills combine to ensure that Reflex delivers a great customer experience and a product clients can be proud of for years to come.
Meet the Founders
Sean P. Malone
Sean P. Malone is Creative Director and Co-Founder of Reflex. Sean’s background in production goes as far back to his time at the University of Miami, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in film production. As a director of photography, he has captured light and emotion on a diverse slate of films, including narrative and documentary features, shorts, commercials, and music videos. His work on international pop star Ivo Mozart’s video, 'Se Namorar', has been viewed over four million times on YouTube, and his cinematography has been awarded at film festivals from Los Angeles to London. As a director and producer, he has helmed countless commercial and corporate projects, narrative short films and a feature-length documentary. In his role as Creative Director of Reflex, Sean most cherishes the people he is able to work with, and loves finding new and creative ways to tell their stories with the utmost skill and care.
Isaiah Leslie
Isaiah Leslie is President and Co-Founder of Reflex. He grew up in the Bay Area but has called Orange County home ever since graduating from the University of Southern California in 2002. Having built two successful companies from the ground up, Isaiah understands the importance of getting a company’s message seen and heard in a large and crowded marketplace. His expertise in project management and customer service ensures that Reflex clients get what they want, when they want it — and in the process — have the best experience possible.
